How You will Make An Impact:

 

Lead the Technology Intelligence Unit (TIU) as Singtel Corporate Centre’s “early tech warning system and evaluation engine,” translating emerging technology trends into actionable strategic recommendations for senior management and the Technology Advisory Council (TAC).

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as secretariat lead for the Technology Advisory Council (TAC), including agenda setting, content development, and stakeholder alignment
  • Lead structured technology scanning and evaluation across priority domains through the development of AI assisted workflows and processes
  • Analyse emerging technologies and assess their strategic relevance, maturity, commercial potential, and implications for Singtel
  • Generate insight papers, briefs, and actionable recommendations for Group MC, senior leadership and TAC
  • Apply frameworks to assess preliminary technology relevance, timing, and value creation potential
  • Engage Business Units, OpCos, Innov8, and functional stakeholders to validate findings and understand business applicability
  • Coordinate TAC meetings, materials, deep dives, and follow-ups
  • Manage selected external partners and research inputs

 

Skills for Success:

 

  • 10-15+ years in strategy, technology, or innovation roles (telco/tech/consulting preferred)
  • Strong understanding of emerging technologies and their commercial impact
  • Experience influencing C-suite and Board-level stakeholders
  • Ability to synthesise complex topics into clear, actionable insights
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
