How You will Make An Impact:
Solution strategy, roadmap and design
- Translate business requirements into clear solution options, recommendations and implementation plans.
- Define end-to-end solution designs for Supply Chain, Logistics and Source-to-Pay systems.
- Ensure solution designs align with enterprise architecture, domain architecture and security standards.
- Develop capability maps, target-state designs and transition plans for assigned platforms.
- Support application rationalisation, modernisation and simplification initiatives.
- Assess new technologies and recommend adoption only where there is clear business value.
- Partner with business stakeholders to clarify scope, priorities, constraints and success measures.
- Facilitate meetings to gather all business requirements, to confirm process impacts, integration needs, data requirements and operational impacts.
- Document assumptions, dependencies, risks and open decisions clearly.
- Communicate solution options, trade-offs and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Challenge unclear, duplicated or low-value requirements and propose simpler alternatives.
Project and Delivery Ownership
- Accountable for delivery of all domain projects (scope, timeline, budget).
- Approve business requirements, solution designs, and major change requests.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Ensure adherence to project governance and delivery standards.
Delivery governance and assurance
- Review project deliverables to ensure compliance with agreed solution design and architecture principles.
- Ensure designs include security, resilience, performance, data, integration and support requirements.
- Support project teams during build, testing, cutover and post-implementation stabilisation.
- Ensure IT service management, project management and change governance processes are followed.
- Track design issues and ensure they are resolved before implementation.
Solution Design and Architecture
- Ensure all solutions align with domain and enterprise architecture principles.
- Oversee end-to-end solution design and integration across internal and external systems.
- Drive best practices in solution design and technology implementation.
Operational Excellence
- Own production system performance and service delivery outcomes.
- Manage AMS vendors and ensure L2/L3 support meets SLAs.
- Ensure incident, problem, and change management processes are followed.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with measurable outcomes.
Vendor, cost and service management
- Work with vendors and delivery partners to validate estimates, designs, assumptions and delivery plans.
- Review vendor deliverables and ensure quality, completeness and alignment with Singtel requirements.
- Support cost optimisation through fit-for-purpose design and reuse of existing capabilities where appropriate.
