Overview
Our Deals Advisory Practice helps businesses realise the potential of their mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and capital markets with a global network of industry experts coupled with data-driven insights. As the largest in Singapore, we provide faster growth, stronger capabilities, a competitive edge across the entire deal continuum, from strategy formulation, deal origination, transaction support and finance raising, to post deal integration and exit.
We are seeking Senior Associate / Manager level candidate to join our Strategic Capital Solutions (“SCS”) team.
The SCS team at PwC covers the APAC region and specialises in structured capital advisory (including private credit and structured equity fundraising solutions), and pre-emptive debt restructuring. We are a first mover in Asia’s private credit market — one of the region’s fastest-growing capital segments — working closely with corporates, sponsors, and investors to deliver bespoke capital solutions across APAC.
As a Senior Manager within the team, you will play a key role across the full deal lifecycle on private credit fundraising, structured equity, and restructuring mandates. Working closely with Partners, Directors, clients, and investors, you will manage transaction execution, contribute to business development efforts, and support the growth of the practice across Southeast Asia and the broader APAC region.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage private credit, structured finance, and restructuring engagements across the transaction lifecycle.
- Oversee financial modelling, credit analysis, due diligence, and transaction structuring activities.
- Advise clients on capital structures, financing solutions, fundraising strategies, and restructuring options.
- Manage relationships with clients, lenders, private credit funds, family offices, and institutional investors.
- Support fundraising and negotiation processes, including investor engagement and transaction execution.
- Drive business development initiatives through market research, proposal development, and origination activities.
- Review and oversee the preparation of client presentations, information memoranda, and transaction documentation.
- Coach and develop junior team members while fostering collaboration across PwC teams.
- Contribute to the growth of the practice through thought leadership, market insights, and cross-functional opportunities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience in private credit, structured finance, leveraged finance, investment banking, restructuring, or corporate finance advisory.
- Strong experience managing complex transactions and multiple stakeholder groups.
- Solid financial modelling, credit analysis, and transaction structuring capabilities.
- Commercial mindset with an interest in business development and client relationship management.
- Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar), including agentic AI, and an interest in leveraging technology to enhance productivity, research, and analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline. Professional qualifications such as CFA, CA, CPA, or equivalent will be advantageous.
Why PwC?
- High-impact work on private credit and restructuring transactions across APAC.
- Exposure to a growing, entrepreneurial, and multi-disciplinary advisory team.
- Opportunities to work closely with senior stakeholders, investors, and clients.
- Access to PwC’s global network, resources, and development opportunities.
- Accelerated professional growth and long-term career opportunities within the firm.
