JOB SUMMARY
- The Director, S&T Performance is responsible for delivering strong performance management information for the Strategy & Talent (“S&T”) function, providing meaningful insights which supports strategic senior discussion and enables decision making around action plans and/or reprioritisation of resources. In addition, they will apply their curiosity and stakeholder management skills to spot opportunities for performance improvement and drive solutions.
- The role requires a highly collaborative, motivated and engaged individual who thrives in complex environments and has a strong ability to interpret, analyse and challenge data. Our ideal candidate has hands-on experience in business management or performance management, exposure or experience working in a highly regulated and agile environment, with strong performance management, business acumen, and relationship building skills.
Responsibilities
• Lead the design and implementation of meaningful reporting MI to the Strategy & Talent Management Team
• Gain a clear understanding of the primary change programmes across S&T, working closely with programme leads, S&T MT BPMs, and S&T COO Strategic Change teams, to support the definition of clear metrics that demonstrate impact against intended outcomes.
• With the support of the S&T MT, perform targeted reviews in driving performance excellence and consistency across the function.
• Support the Head, S&T Performance with providing inputs into GMT papers and updates, including bi-annual Group Performance Review (GPR) packs and others as required.
• Support in the delivery of ad-hoc projects across S&T Performance as needed.
• Support the delivery of performance data demonstrating the impact S&T has against global segment and bank-wide strategy and priorities.
• Analyse performance MI data across S&T and work with stakeholders to proactively identify areas of opportunity for improvement.
• Drive a performance excellence culture across S&T, which values not just results but how we address areas of underperformance and the actions we take to drive improvement.

Skills and Experience

• 8+ years’ experience working in finance or comparable industry.
• Hands-on experience in business management or performance management,
• Exposure or experience working in a highly regulated and agile environment, with strong performance management, business acumen, and relationship building skills.
