Description

 

What you do:

  • Provide strategic counsel to senior management on all things Social, Content and Digital.
  • Oversee in-house resources and social agencies in terms of project management, quality control, being on-brand, etc. Refine content guidelines and production processes. 
  • Identify and evaluate emerging social media platforms and digital tools & technology for strategic use 
  • Oversee and provide inputs for performance media, Search Engine Optimisation and Marketing (SEO + SEM), and OCBC.com website
  • Develop relationships with online publishers, KOLs and content creators with an eye on potential collabs.
  • Serve as counsel to regional Social + Digital teams in Malaysia, China, Indonesia
  • Provide direction for social media community management, and advise during crisis scenarios
  • Governance of social media policy, vendor onboarding & content guidelines, and ensuring the adherence to said policies.
  • Oversee internal risk management, intranet, team budgets

 

Qualifications

 

Who you are:

  • A Social Media power user, with keen understanding on how they work
  • Degree in Communications (or equivalent)
  • At least 10 years track record in social/digital agency, performance media, content production or related fields.
  • Excellent presentation skills, to educate and sell ideas to a variety of audiences –Ability to “read the room” is key.
  • A critical thinker capable of making data-driven, logical recommendations 
  • Creative, innovative, perpetually curious, and nimble to adapt to changing demands and scope
  • A collaborative team player willing to learn as well as teach, follow as well as lead, show humility while also having the courage to speak up, and see things from different perspectives. 
  • A self-starter, capable of working independently or leading a team 
  • Willing and able to pull off occasional extra hours or weekend to rush work.
