Our Deals Advisory Practice helps businesses realise the potential of their mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and capital markets with a global network of industry experts coupled with data-driven insights. As the largest in Singapore, we provide faster growth, stronger capabilities, a competitive edge across the entire deal continuum, from strategy formulation, deal origination, transaction support and finance raising, to post deal integration and exit.

We are seeking a Senior Manager / Associate Director level person to join us in our Strategic Solutions and Turnaround Group (“SSTG”).

The SSTG business is focused on advising and assisting businesses undergoing a period of stress. We bring solutions that combine quick fundraising from a range of financiers including special situation and structured funds with strategic repositioning and operational restructuring. Together we can build trust in society and solve important problems.

How will you value-add?

As a Senior Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive fundraising, strategic repositioning and operational restructuring experience. You will play an important role in our team by taking on responsibilities that include (but are not limited to):

  • Work with partners and directors to scan the market for potential opportunities.

  • Lead pitches and project execution under the overall leadership of a partner/director and with support of appropriate junior professionals.

  • Responsible for a majority of day to day client communications (interactions may be virtual or require travel to the client’s office. In the future once travel / group size restrictions are lifted, it may require overseas travel as well)

  • Responsible to shape and deliver projects that exceed the expectations of our clients and our own assignment quality criteria.

  • Help to grow and develop our team through hands-on training and coaching.

  • Proactively improve the practice by getting involved in team strategy, development of new business, and technical advice across disciplines.

  • Building strong networks within the firm to spot opportunities to work collaboratively on projects.

About You

The individuals we are looking for should preferably have the following:

  • Hands on experience in Structured Finance, Corporate Finance, Turnaround or Value Creation work of 7 years or more, covering all phases from pitching, scoping, planning through to execution.

  • Experience leading projects including pitches as well as engagements working directly with Directors and Partners.

  • A solution oriented approach with the ability to bring together multiple competencies to provide a comprehensive solution to the client.

  • Experience handling clients in the Southeast Asia region.

  • While this is not essential, previous experience working with global and regional structured funds and credit roles within investment banks, advisory & boutique would be an added advantage.
