Reporting to the Head, Secretariat (Company Secretary), the Senior Corporate Secretarial Executive will play a key role within the Secretariat team in the provision of the full spectrum of corporate secretarial services.

 

Make an Impact by:

 

  • Provide day-to-day corporate secretarial support to assigned portfolio of companies within the Group including organising board and shareholder meetings, preparation of company secretarial documents, and ensuring timely filing of AGM, EGM and Annual Return documents.
  • Assist in the preparation of the Singtel annual report and the holding of the Singtel AGM
  • Provide company secretarial support for corporate actions such as share issues, scrip dividends and rights issues.
  • Support special projects by assisting with the establishment of new subsidiaries in Singapore and other jurisdictions, as well as the establishment and/or maintenance of employee share schemes.
  • Advise internal clients on annual compliance and corporate secretarial matters.
  • Collaborate with overseas colleagues and company secretarial agents regarding overseas subsidiaries.
  • Ensure the lodgement of documents with ACRA and SGX
  • Maintain and update statutory records of companies within assigned portfolio.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of the corporate database.

 

Skills for Success: 

 

  • SAICSA qualification
  • At least 3 years of working experience in SGX listed company secretarial work
  • Familiar with the requirements under the Singapore Companies Act, Securities and Futures Act and the SGX Listing Manual
  • Experience with ACRA BizFile procedures, SGX filing procedures and Microsoft Office software.
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to interact and work across functions and levels.
  • Good communication, writing and negotiation skills.
  • Team player able to work independently with good people management skills.
  • Able to work under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
