Make an Impact by:

 

  • Provide sound legal advice in a fast paced and dynamic working environment to business units within the Networks, IT, Property and Procurement divisions of Singtel.
  • Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts with particular focus on IT, mobile networks, procurement, and property related transactions.
  • Liaise and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to obtain and address feedback on commercial contracts and operational issues.
  • Develop and implement policies, processes and procedures to increase efficiency in contract reviews.
  • Provide legal education and trainings to business units; and manage compliance programs and policies/procedures.
  • Handle contract issues and change management, provide interpretation to support implementation and recommend changes and best practices.
  • Manage disputes and litigations matters.

Skills for Success: 

 

  • Minimum of 7 years post qualification experience (PQE) acquired in a reputable local law firm or in-house in a, property development/leasing, telecommunication and/or IT related industry.
  • Strong ability to draft and negotiate commercial contracts, and able to lead in negotiations.
  • Strong legal/contract analytical skills with a good eye for detail and sound knowledge of general corporate and contract law.
  • Excellent knowledge of local laws and regulations with particular emphasis on telecommunications, IT, real estate matters including construction of buildings and facility contracts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by the ability to interact with all levels of management. Experience in working with senior management.
  • Self-starter, proactive and able to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team in a dynamic and fast paced environment to meet critical deadlines.
