Join us in a pivotal role that merges passion for technology with exceptional leadership skills to develop new revenue opportunities in Cloud and ICT for the region. As Director for the Cloud & Solutions business, you will lead the Engineering planning, delivery and operations for the build and lifecycle of the Cloud platform and its marketplace.
Make an Impact by:
- Platform Build and Service Transition ; Patches and Upgrades activities and coordination.
- Overall solutions planning, transition and fulfilment.
- Platform Security.
- Manages Support and MS contracts.
- Platform Testing and acceptance.
- Clearance of Customer Tickets.
- Incident Management, and Dispute resolution.
Skills for Success:
- Bachelor Degree in Business, IT or Electrical Engineering.

10 years industry experience working with DevOps function for complex systems.

Extensive knowledge and experience in cloud management, deployment, and support.

Extensive experience in managing IT teams for delivery and operations of multi-tenanted platforms.

Extensive experience in managing problem resolution, incident management and customer tickets.

Good knowledge of Cloud technology and managing platfoms services, ICT and Cloud Product Lifecycle

Competent and experienced in Security by Design.

Adept in vendor and risk management.

Proficient in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
-
Strong scripting skills (e.g. Python, Bash) and proficiency with Java, PHP or .NET programming

Strong hands-on experience on Linux operating systems.

Possess solid knowledge and experience with containers and container orchestration tools.

Extensive experience managing networking (routing, DNS, Load Balancing, IPsec VPN, VPC, Subnets)

Proficient in enabling security by design, and managing firewall rules
-
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).

Practitioner of agile and DevOps practices and the usage of related CI/ CD tools such as Jira, Jenkins and configuration tools like Ansible, Chef an Puppet.
