As a Sales Director for the Homeland Security Tribe, you will be responsible for driving sales and business development initiatives within the Homeland Security sector. This role involves leading a team of sales professionals, developing strategic relationships with clients, and identifying new business opportunities to ensure the growth and success of the Homeland Security Tribe.
What will you do?
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and inspire a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive growth in the Homeland Security sector.
- Oversee account penetration, prospect qualification, and the entire sales process.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including both short-term and long-term sales goals.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with clients to identify future opportunities and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the DHS Client Service Unit, Lines of Businesses (LOBs), and NEXT Services teams.
- Define solution offerings and value propositions that align with client needs and NCS capabilities.
- Lead internal Sales bidding process to achieve the best cost-effective sales proposals
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and refine product offerings.
Sales Performance & Reporting:
- Monitor and report on sales performance, including sales pipeline, sold margin, and revenue achievements.
- Develop and implement metrics to measure the success of sales initiatives and strategies.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- University Degree/Polytechnic Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- A background in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is a plus.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably within the Homeland Security or related sectors and experience in managing and developing a high-performing sales team.
- Over 5 years of sales leadership experience in ICT services or consulting, with a strong track record in business development.
- Experience in IT technical sales is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to present and articulate complex solutions effectively.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Knowledge of NCS operational processes and commercial arrangements.
