Make an Impact by:

  • To perform fiber planning and network design tasks in support of provisioning activities for corporate data services and engineering circuits over transmission and fiber network.
  • Fiber planning tasks involve reviewing and planning of new network cables required to provision corporate data or engineering services and the generation of associated documentations.
  • Monitor timely submission and check accuracy of survey sketches by contractors.
  • Check and approve fiber cables plan drawn.
  • Verify project costing and capital expenditures for fiber planning tasks.
  • Network design tasks involve allocation of network infrastructure required to provision corporate data or engineering services, and the generation of associated documentations.
  • Liaising with operation staff and field staffs to resolve issues pertaining to the fiber planning and design work.
  • Manage and extract database for management report as and when required.
  • Assist to perform and manage escalated cases for all fiber planning and design requirements.
  • Ensure the task is completed on time and accurately to meet team’s Key Performance Index (KPI).
  • KPI includes the measurement of on time performance, design errors and response time to capacity check requests.

 

Skills for Success:

  • Diploma in Civil/Electrical Engineering and related engineering disciplines
  • 2 years of relevant working experience
  •  Experience in corporate telecommunications and networking are added advantage.

  • Must be able to demonstrate high level of Customer focus to internal and external Customers.

  • Possess interpersonal and communication skills in a multicultural environment.

  • Independent and capable of decision making and problem solving.

  • Highly motivated and able to work independently under pressure.

  • Good communication and written skills in English 

  • Good in report writing and presentation skill.
