You’ll work closely with stakeholders on credit risk weight assets determination, systems infrastructure and risk data matters for credit risk weighted asset determination and risk measurement. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, design solutions, and implement changes that drive business value. Your success will depend on your ability to analyze complex problems, develop creative solutions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. 

What you do 

  • Focus on the data acquisition of credit data for the regulatory and management reporting of the bank’s Group portfolios.
  • Participate in the maintenance of the credit risk data aggregation processes, which include coding and testing of scripts, management of data integrity and data lineage.
  • Prepare regulatory and management credit risk reports.
  • Optimise credit risk weighted assets through improved methodologies and data quality.
  • Advise business on the appropriate credit risk weighted assets treatment.

Qualifications

 

Who you are 

  • Minimum 12 years’ experience in analytical role, conducting monthly credit portfolio/financial reporting exercises in a financial institution.
  • Experience in design and automation of credit portfolio or financial reports.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and detailed oriented team player who can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good understanding of banking products and risk management concepts.
  • Independent, creative, with a pro-active problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficient in analytical tools such as SQL/Teradata/Big Data technologies including Hadoop, SAS, Python and Microsoft Office applications.
