Play a key role in driving business growth and customer satisfaction in the mid-market segment. As an EB Mid-Market professional, you’ll be responsible for supporting Relationship Managers (RMs) in handling Corporate Clients’ transactions, assisting clients on their transactional issues, and performing annual reviews on customers. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in areas such as corporate banking, transactional banking, and sustainability finance.
How you succeed
To excel in this role, you’ll need to be a strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to work effectively with customers, RMs, and other stakeholders. You’ll need to be detail-oriented, with a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
What you do
Your responsibilities will include:
Team 1
Transaction and Support:
• Submission of documents to OCS Level 4 counter for manual TT, TT amendment, IO FD placement
• Submission of documents to Trade Ops
• Document batching
Credit Review:
• Following up with customers on documentation and transactions’ details with RM supervision and instructions
• Assisting RM with Credit Proposal / Review / Memo including internet searches, Net Reveal, BCO clearance etc.
• Call report: Bank statements screening for facilities and OCBC exposure, meeting summary (if attended jointly with RM)
• Screening (Netreveal, Internet Searches)
• Buyers and Suppliers Searches/Screening
• Internet and other relevant searches on Borrower and promoters
• KYC reviews
Market Information:
• Google fraud searches, SORA rates updates, help with KYC/AML, ESIM, research RMs may task him from time to time
Team 2
Sustainability Finance Support:
• Researching into customer’s business to identify eligibility to OCBC Sustainability Framework
• Supporting SF specialist in administrating Green Loan/ Sustainability Linked Loan
• Assisting SMEs to measure carbon emission using ESG tools
• Preparing presentation slides for specialist or bosses
• May have opportunity to support RMs on general works depending on capacity

• Understand how and what (product offerings) OCBC supports SME to embark on sustainability journey
• Familiarize with OCBC SME sustainability framework which is aligned to ESG principles
• Hands-on experience on various ESG measuring tools
• On-the-job experience on RMs/ Specialist’s Sustainability Linked Loans pitch to SME
• Exposure to Commercial Banking RM’s role and responsibility
