Description

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all transactions are accurately processed and verified according to the bank operational procedures and policies
  • Ensure no disruption in daily BAU in terms of accuracy and timeliness to meet Service Level Indicator as established with Business
  • Ensure timely review of daily reports to ensure prompt action to be taken
  • Updating of daily tracker and follow up for status and pending items
  • Daily reconciliation on Nostro and depot
  • Identify, escalate any key risk areas within the process and suggest recommending solutions to mitigate risk.
  • Update any procedures in response to process changes or regulatory changes, control guidelines and compliance framework
  • Handle Ad-Hoc Project as assigned

 

Qualifications

 

  • Diploma or higher with at least 5 years of working experience in banking operation with a focus on settlement
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to plan and prioritize the daily work to achieve efficient and effective management of time and has exceptional attention to detail ad accuracy in data entry and documentation
  • Be able to work well with all associates and actively promote a cohesive working environment
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proven track record of process improvement and project management initiatives
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Proficiency in technical skill like VBA, Python and data analysis is a plus

In addition to the responsibilities highlighted, the individual may also be required to perform other work-related duties as assigned by his/her supervisor
