We are looking to hire a talented and committed HR Specialist to join the Workforce Staffing (WFS) Team supporting multiple countries within the APAC region. As a HR Specialist, you are responsible for defining and implementing the labour strategy across each of the countries in the APAC region.
The role holder understands the key organizational goals of country Operations leadership and identifies opportunity areas where the Workforce Staffing function can support the business in achieving these goals, often through labour model and hiring strategy interventions. To do this, the role holder works with cross-functional stakeholders and global teams to identify key business problems and/or organizational barriers even when they are not well defined, creates team structures or taskforce groups and leads the program implementation. The role holder regularly presents narratives, strategy documents and program updates to senior leaders to facilitate alignment and organizational decision making where required.
The successful candidate will have superb business judgment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills. They will have experience of working in highly ambiguous environments and a track record of large scale program implementation as well as highly effective stakeholder management. They will have the ability to build solutions that can flex with the business needs and ultimately scale.
Key job responsibilities
The successful candidate will work in lock-step with APAC WFS Operations and stakeholders to:
· Lead multiple simultaneous projects at to optimize hiring lead times, costs and service levels
· Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed and ensuring service requirements
· Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels
· Manage the prioritization and trade-offs between different business groups, maximizing efficiency gains without compromising on quality
· Obtain buy-in from senior business leaders and stakeholders on process standardization
· Work creatively around the associated complexities in a highly inter-dependent team and the ability to embrace new technologies
· Drive execution of work in a non-hierarchical, matrix environment
· Prepare, analyse and present data on key impact areas
· Track WFS team progress against local projects and lessons learned
· Write clear and concise communication; this includes monthly and quarterly business reviews
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
– 7+ years in program/project management
– 7+ years in HR programs, data analytics and/or high volume recruiting and/or operations management
– Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
– Strong narrative writing skills
– Experience with managing large-scale organizational change.
– Experience defining technical requirements and working with systems resources
– Willingness to travel as required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Master’s Degree
– Has worked for a large-scale operations business such as FMCG, e-commerce, retail or manufacturing.
– Experience working in Legal and Social Responsibility compliance projects
– Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data and communicating data findings, experience establishing and tracking program metrics including return on investment.
– Experience identifying and resolving issues independently, will take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances.
– Ability to develop and implement planning processes and procedures across geographically distributed teams.
– Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate strategy into operational plans and business results.
