 What you do

  • Provide L2 support for applications, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and root cause analysis
  • Analyze issues raised by users or reported by monitoring systems, and provide workaround solutions
  • Follow up with vendors to ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Understand job dependencies and recover failed jobs
  • Define and implement job automation
  • Support regular simulation of disaster recovery scenarios
  • Specify monitoring requirements and observe system abnormalities to prevent issues
  • Conduct application capacity planning and performance tuning
  • Perform regular application reviews to ensure compliance with technology security standards
  • Communicate with internal IT, business units, and external vendors to resolve issues and improve application performance

 Who you work with

Global Operations & Technology co-creates products and solutions, building the underlying technology applications and services, and managing the Group’s IT operations & cyber defence. As a key member of this team, you will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of our applications and drive business success.

 

Qualifications

 

Who you are

  • Minimum 3-5 years of IT experience, preferably in the banking or financial institution industry
  • Strong technical skillset, including Unix/Linux, MS SQL, Oracle, Postgre, MySQL, IIS, nginx, Apache Web, WebLogic/WebSphere, MQ, Kafka, Tomcat, Resin, Redis, Java, Java Script, SQL Script, .Net, and Python
  • Good knowledge of 3-tier architecture applications and ability to provide L2 support
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proactive and flexible, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
