Key responsibilities:

The Cash Account Manager will be responsible for managing and enhancing client relationships by taking a proactive approach to understanding client needs, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring the highest level of service. This role is crucial for driving revenue growth by increasing bank deposits, nurturing customer relationships with a particular focus on foreign customers especially in the Chinese market.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cash management, excellent communication skills and a customer-centric mindset. 

  • Client Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and ambition
    • Provide advice and support to clients on their banking requirements  
    • Conduct day-to-day account servicing and regular compliance review to ensure proper due diligence and KYC 
    • Identify and nurture high-growth Chinese customers to support their regional expansion and life cycle, and facilitate the transition to appropriate segments to ensure tailored services that match their evolving needs are met
  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Responsible for building sales pipelines and delivering deposit and revenue KPIs  
    • Formulate and execute account plans for identified customers in assigned portfolio to increase share of wallet
    • Collaborate with Product Partners such as Global Treasury (GT) and Global Transaction Banking (GTB) to recommend treasury products such as Foreign Exchange (FX), Investments and Cash management solutions

Qualifications:

  • University degree in any discipline with at least 3 – 5 years’ of working experience in banking or financial services
  • Articulate with strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage and influence customers’ banking decisions
  • Strong experience in Cash Management Sales preferred
  • Highly driven and positively motivated
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin required
