How you succeed
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to stay ahead of the curve in terms of technology trends and advancements. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop architecture solutions that meet their requirements. You’ll also need to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of technology solutions.
What you do

Possess good understanding of architecture strategy and roadmap and able to align design towards them interpedently

Able to produce design blueprints for a complete application as well as end to end design covering multiple interconnected systems and processes

Update or produce new architecture frameworks and guiding principles for review. Possess good understanding of why, when and how to apply them

Possess in-depth understanding of more than one functional domain and the processes around it. Able to quickly pick up new domain knowledge. For e.g. payments, core banking, wealth, trade, treasury etc

Provide detailed design (sequence diagrams, domain-driven, bounded context, granularity of microservices)

Escalate design and implementation challenges to Architecture and Engineering forum for resolution

Work hands-on with the development team

Provide regular support/guidance on complex coding, issue resolution and implementation/execution

Be part of a learning culture organisation, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued
Who you are
-
Preferably 7 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks in Java/J2EE technologies.

Preferably 3 years of experience in Microservices architecture, Messaging (Kafka, MQ), Database technologies (PostgresDB, MongoDB, OracleDB, MSSQL etc)

Possess experience or strong knowledge in Cloud and infrastructure setup

Exceptional communication skills and the demonstrable abilities to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations

Must be a team player that able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus. Must be highly reliable, trustworthy, honest, and commitment oriented

Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities

Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural standpoint.

Good experience or strong in thought leaderships, proactive and resourceful

Experience and knowledge of wealth, trade or treasury type of application systems will be advantageous
