JOB SUMMARY
- Evaluate and recommend/approve new applications, increase in limits and annual reviews for approval submitted through various channels i.e. Branches, dedicated and direct sales channels for retail banking and/or business banking products
- Work with various stakeholders including Product, Policy, Sales and Operations closely
- Participate in system enhancement and changes and perform testing and verification
- Participate in process change discussions and implementations
- Ensure that the department’s Service Quality and Key Control Standards are complied with.
- Ad hoc reporting and other duties assigned from time to time.
- Engage in regular discussions to drive operational efficiency and knowledge sharing.
- Proactive and independent assessment of applications and fraud awareness
- Effective management of work and ensuring performance within expected turnaround time
- Embed the Group’s values and code of conduct
- Good understanding of the role requirements and ensure that these are well understood reflected in internal procedures.
- Identifying and escalation of all exceptions on non-compliance with standard controls

Our Ideal Candidate
- 1+ years of experience in Banking industry .
- Understanding of credit guidelines related to Wealth Management
- Understanding underwriting guidelines and policy rules
- Understanding of product features of Wealth Management
Role specific Technical Competencies
- Ensuring accuracy on credit checks, understanding on collateral base lending
- Financial Analysis – Collateral Evaluation e.g. Unit Trust, Bonds, Equity etc
- Risk Assessment – Identifying and mitigating risks in Wealth Management Lending
