1. The Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) is a key member of the Global Transportation team within the Global Corporate Bank.
2. The ARM provides crucial support to the Relationship Manager (RM) and Business Head (BH) in daily operations, operations, client care and relationship management.
3. The ARM will be directly involved in various transactions and client engagements externally as well as interface with various departments internally.

What you do
1. Assist the RM in managing a portfolio of corporate clients, building strong relationships with clients through regular communication.
2. Conduct regular client meetings to understand their business goals and challenges.
3. Collaborate with product specialists to deliver tailored financial solutions.
4. Drive account strategies to achieve business targets, collaborating with overseas colleagues and product partners, as well as supporting units of the Bank to cross-sell trade, treasury, cash management, capital markets products.
5. Provide exceptional client service, responding to client queries and resolving issues promptly.
6. Assist RM on preparation of credit papers, financial analysis, and post-credit approval activities including follow up with the clients on covenants, exceptions, insurance renewals, trade/treasury excesses, drafting and coordinating of Letters of Offer, Letters of Advice and Syndicated Facility Agreements.
7. Working with Compliance and support end-to-end onboarding and periodic review activities in accordance with regulatory requirements including handling Account Opening KYC Questionnaire and follow up with clients on documents.
8. Identify opportunities across the entire value chain in Singapore and overseas markets, and cross-selling opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and support revenue growth.
Who you are

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, economics or accountancy.

Minimum 3 – 5 years’ working experience in corporate banking or a related field.

Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Some knowledge of financial products and services, including corporate lending, treasury, cash management.

Good team player. Self-motivated, pro-active, growth mindset and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
