Make an Impact by:

  • To review and develop infrastructure design concept/options for project
  • To monitor and ensure timely completion of projects within budget, schedule, of quality and in compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance
  • To lead project meetings, track and prepare project construction progress report
  • To resolve site issues related to pipe and cables, coordinate with internal/external stakeholders until completion project
  • To support contractors in applying building/site access and attend site meetings
  • To ensure that target dates (Customer Ready Date) for all access fibre cable schemes are met so that services can be provided expeditiously to customers
  • To track and close contractor claims timely
  • To engage contractor to perform maintenance works for telco infrastructures, when needed
  • To maintain access record of telecom manholes and trenches
  • To liaise with internal and external stakeholders for arrangement of field works in terms of schedule, resource planning and costing
  • To maintain as-built information of telco infrastructures in company geographical information system (GIS)

 

Skills for Success:

  • Diploma in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, and related engineering disciplines
  • 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Good knowledge of planning and construction of telecommunication or underground infrastructure
  • Hands on experience in building telecommunication infrastructure
  • Able to collaborate effectively with government agencies and other utility operators
  • Able to manage contractors effectively and communicate with internal stakeholders.
