Make an Impact by:
- Responsible for the fibre cable planning for new or existing development (commercial & Industrial buildings).
- Project Planning for fiber cable top up (UG and In-building).
- Planning and studying of underground and in-building fiber (Fiber and Pipe networks).
- Managing of Project based and Daily order-based Provisioning projects. Ensuring that target dates (Customer Ready Date) for all access fibre cable schemes are met so that services can be provided expeditiously to customers.
- Liaising with internal and external teams to ensure smooth delivery of project completion.
- Working together with internal and external counterparts on project job scope.
- Ensuring project schemes and material vouchers are issued timely.
- Assisting contractors in applying MARS (Manhole Access Request System) and liaising with BM (Building Management) for access application.
- Responsible for tracking contractor progress, ensuring timely submission of job completion reports, verifying completed work and project claims in the Streamline and Impact systems, and providing estimated fiber and pipeline quotes to internal stakeholders.
- Conduct site surveys when necessary, especially when contractors encounter difficulties locating infrastructure or resolving on-site issues.
- Plan and support nationwide copper recovery projects, including project coordination, issuing Service Orders, and verifying contractor claims.
- Plan and support ad-hoc, future, or assigned projects and responsibilities as required
Skills for Success:
- Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications or in relevant field
- Preferably with 1 year working experience and holding Class 3 driving license
- Able to communicate well with all levels of people.
- Able to managed multiple projects at same period of time
- Good in Microsoft software (i.e. words, power point, excel, etc)
- Able to work during non-office hours to support network incidents and restoration.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently under pressure
