Make an Impact by:
- Work with internal and external parties on IT technical solutions and solution implementations
- Support application software configuration, programming, enhancement and testing based on changing business requirements
- Maintain VDC environments, firewalls, load balancers and security systems.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise network and virtual environments
- Participate in workshop/meeting to capture and analyse software and system requirements
- Participate in Disaster Recovery(DR) and CAB(Change Advisory Board) exercises
- Perform any other ad-hoc activities as requested by immediate supervisor
Skills for Success:
- Diploma in TComputer Scienc/ Engineering or Electrical/Electronics & Communications Engineering, Info-Comm Technology.
- At least 2 years relevant experience working in telecommunications or multimedia engineering would be an advantage.
- Knowledge in Cloud computing, VMware VDC, firewall and load balancer, networking and security.
- Knowledge in Tableau, Jasper or development of dashboard and reports.
- Knowledge in programming languages, such as: Python, Java, Shell scripting
- Knowledge in MySQL, PostgreSQL DBs
- Knowledge in Linux or Windows operating system
- Knowledge of SDLC and Agile development methodologies (Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD).
- Knowledge with the ELK Stack – ElasticSearch, LogStash, Kibana and Kafka would be an advantage.
- Knowledge automation, containerisation, and orchestration using tools such as GitHub, Ansible, Jira etc. would be an advantage.
- Logical thinking/ approach to problem solving
- A good team player and highly motivated, goal-oriented individual
