POSITION SUMMARY

  1. Have knowledge of hotel, hotel staff, and hotel services, including the hours of operation for all departments involved and in the surrounding areas; has a thorough knowledge of guestrooms including: locations, views, amenities, features, types, etc.
  2. Offers the hotel guests the best possible service through courteous and proper phone answering procedures
  3. Is a hotel ambassador by promoting the hotel, restaurant and happenings both in and outside of hotel
  4. Understands various payment options and procedures of Room Service
  5. Able to give accurate directions and information regarding the immediate and metro area
  6. Handle all emergencies according to established procedures
  7. Ensure that all customer complaints are recorded in the Guest Response Program in a timely and professional manner.
  8. Ensure all individuals designated for follow-up in the Manager on Duty report are copied on the report and any other pertinent information available 
  9. Expected to carry out all reasonable requests by management of which the associate is capable of performing
  10. Ensure that all guests who experience a problem receive an appropriate response, any promised compensation is delivered, and an appropriate follow-up in a I verify that I have read all of the above and understood what is expected of me in my position and the management reserves the right to make amendments to the Job Description, as and when deemed necessary.

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: No related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None
