What you do
- Establish and maintain a business continuity framework that aligns with the organization’s strategic goals. This includes identifying potential risks, assessing their impacts, designing risk scenarios, and developing effective recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with business functions to create robust business continuity plans that address a variety of scenarios. Ensure these plans are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect changing circumstances.
- Oversee regular testing and exercises of business continuity plans to validate their effectiveness, meet business obligations, and identify areas for improvement to enhance overall preparedness.
- Ensure alignment and integration of business continuity management (BCM) across all business units and subsidiaries. Provide guidance on conducting Business Impact Analyses and recovery strategy planning.
- Facilitate BCM training sessions to enhance knowledge and awareness across the organization.
- Participate in and oversee the recovery progress of business units during crisis management exercises.
- Collaborate with business units to review and analyze internal, external, and system dependencies, determining adequate recovery responses for critical business services.

You will be part of Group Business Continuity Management, a team within the Operational Risk Management Department and Group Risk Management Division. This is a team of professionals who plays the role of the 2nd Line of Defence playing a crucial role in safeguarding the organization from disruption and managing recovery to ensure operational continuity.
Qualifications
Who you are
- You have proven experience in Business Continuity Management or Disaster Recovery within a financial institution, including plan development, testing, and incident response.
- You are familiar with industry standards and regulations (e.g., MAS BCMG).
- Professional certifications in business continuity management (e.g., CBCP, BCCE) are preferred.
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with stakeholders at all levels.
- You are resourceful, a team player, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, thriving in diverse team environments.
