How you succeed
To excel in this role, you’ll need to stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in risk management. What you do

Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, tables, views, functions, and stored procedures

Build and maintain ETL pipelines using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or related tools

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements

Analyze complex problems and design effective solutions

Implement solutions efficiently and effectively

Test and validate solutions to ensure they meet requirements
-
Provide technical support and maintenance for existing solutions
-
Ensure database performance, reliability, and security through proactive monitoring and optimization
-
Conduct data troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and data quality checks

Develop and maintain documentation for database structures, processes, and procedures

Support data migration, integration, and transformation projects

Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards
Who you are
-
A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
-
Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (2012 or later)
-
Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers

Experience with performance tuning, indexing, query optimization, and execution plan analysis

Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, or other ETL/reporting solutions

Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modelling

Experience working with large datasets and high-transaction environments

Experience with risk management frameworks and technologies

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements

Familiarity with Power BI or data visualization tools, a plus
