How You Succeed

You will succeed by leveraging your experience in conducting independent reviews of AML/CFT and sanctions-related models/systems, ensuring thorough planning, execution, and reporting of compliance testing results. Your strong data analytics skills and technical knowledge will enable you to perform end-to-end testing and validation of risk-based models with precision and insight. By maintaining clear communication with senior management and collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders, you will provide actionable feedback that enhances risk controls and streamlines compliance processes, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What You Do

  • Carry out compliance testing commitments to provide independent reviews of the state of OCBC Bank’s AML/CFT and sanctions-related systems/controls, and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements to Senior Management.

  • Develop compliance test plans and ensure timely execution.

  • Produce detailed reports, ensuring all findings are clearly documented with supporting evidence, and update Senior Management on these findings.

  • Perform end-to-end testing of risk-based AML/CFT and sanctions-related models such as AML scenario rules and/or screening logic validation tests, and assess model data accuracy, integrity, and completeness.

  • Support the Department’s data analytics initiatives.

  • Provide feedback to strengthen risk controls and streamline regulatory compliance processes.

  • Maintain good working relationships with internal stakeholders, business units, audit, and other risk control-related departments.

Who You Are

  • Minimum 3 to 8 years of experience conducting independent reviews of AML/CFT/Sanctions-related models/systems, with experience managing such reviews from planning to report issuance. Candidates with similar experience in other risk management or equivalent systems will also be considered.

  • Strong data analytics skills with technical knowledge in data mining. Data analytics-related certification is a plus.

  • Preferably, a good understanding of a bank’s data infrastructure.

  • Strong acumen in risk management and controls.

  • Good written and oral communication skills.
