The incumbent will be responsible for shaping, strengthening, and managing the Group Brand to drive long-term reputation, awareness, and business value. This role combines strategic thinking with creative execution, ensuring the brand is consistently expressed across all internal and external touchpoints. The manager will also oversee the development of branded content across digital platforms, particularly social media, and lead initiatives such as industry award submissions that enhance corporate reputation. The ideal candidate should preferably have a good understanding of the telecom, media and technology industries or else, a strong aptitude for acquiring new domain knowledge. The role is Singapore-based and will report to the Director (Brand Development) of Group Corp Affairs and Investor Relations.

 

Make an Impact by

 

Drive brand leadership and development 

  • Develop and implement the corporate brand strategy, positioning, and architecture.
  • Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all communication channels and business units.
  • Maintain and update brand toolkits, templates, and assets
  • Drive initiatives that strengthen brand equity and corporate reputation.
  • Conduct regular brand audits and track performance against KPIs.

 

Campaigns and Communications

  • Lead the development of integrated brand campaigns that reinforce brand position, driving positive brand association with stakeholders
  • Partner with BU to align brand narratives with corporate storytelling
  • Draft social media captions/announcements for brand driven campaigns and messages
  • Coordinate with BU to manage the development and roll out of campaign assets
  • Project management and oversee production of campaign assets, ensuring high standards and brand consistency

 

Sponsorships and partnerships

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage sponsorships and partnerships that align with corporate brand objectives
  • Negotiate and activate sponsorship agreements to maximise brand visibility and value
  • Collaborate with partners and event organisers to ensure brand integration and effective execution
  • Build and maintain strong external relationships with key partners, associations, and community organisations

 

Awards 

  • Manage industry award calendar and award submissions
  • Prepare announcements and content relating to awards

 

Operational/Process

  • Manage relationships with agency partners, vendors and suppliers
  • Manage procurement process which includes working closely with finance/ legal/ risks/accounts to generate necessary approvals and timely payments for vendors

 

Skills for Succes

 

  • A degree from a recognised university, preferably specialising in Mass Communications/Public Relations/Business.         
  • Possess 5 – 8 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, media relations and issues management (preferably in a publicly listed company).
  • Writing and editing skills including speech writing. Must have ability and passion for writing
  • Excellent people skills and command of written and spoken English
  • Ability to demonstrate a successful track record in the following areas:
  • Lead projects to achieve stipulated objectives and goals
  • Self-starter who possesses strong planning and organisational skills, very resourceful
  • Able to produce clear, factual and relevant information in written form
  • Strengths in relationship management and ability to influence peers, subordinates, seniors and external media
  • Good project skills
  • Technology and net-savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office applications
