As a Business Development Manager in Emerging Business Sales, you will play a key role in driving growth and expanding our commercial property loan portfolio. To succeed in this role, you will need to build strong relationships with business owners, entrepreneurs, and key decision-makers. You will need to understand their business needs, identify opportunities, and provide innovative solutions that meet their financial objectives. Your success will be measured by your ability to grow our commercial property loan portfolio, expand our customer base, and drive revenue growth.

What you do

1. Solicit new commercial property loan opportunities through building of strong referrals from channels such as Property agents, brokers etc.

2. Understand the business life cycle of small businesses to help them expand their reach and provide prudent financial solutions to support the companies’ growth

3. Demonstrate good credit acumen with ability to mitigate financing risk to ensure robustness of our credit portfolio

4. Strong cross team collaborations with internal and external stakeholders to nurture and grow new business and partnership opportunities

Who you are

  • Degree holder, with min. 1-2 years of credit and sales experience covering local SMEs preferred

  • Fervent individual who is self-driven and possesses the willingness to take on additional initiatives to drive the overall business strategy.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to connect with customers

  • Sound analytical skills with ability to interpret and analyse company financial

  • Passionate individual who is innovative and enjoys a dynamic work environment
