How will you value-add?
The Business Development department focuses the firm’s market strategies around client problems/issues in targeted client segments to drive revenue growth. We utilise analytics to derive meaningful insights and work across all lines of services to embed the insights in providing a client-centric experience. We support our internal clients in building trust with new clients and deepening relationships in the marketplace.
Within the Business Development team, you will be part of a tight-knit team that enables the business to meet annual targets, bring the best of our global network to our client and provide them with a best-in-class experience.
As a sales generalist at PwC, you will be responsible for engaging in various sales activities to drive revenue and achieve sales targets. Working in this area, you will build and leverage a broad understanding of the Firm’s products or services and utilise skills in identifying customer needs and providing appropriate solutions. To be successful in this role, you will be adaptable and work across different industries and markets to identify and facilitate cross sell opportunities and maximise sales prospects.

Develop and drive programs and initiatives to strengthen client relationships and strategic client experience

Develop and drive marketing campaigns and events, and find ways and opportunities to strengthen our brand in the marketplace.

Research and analysis ie. Industry research and monitoring, account performance and company monitoring profiling, competitor information and industry trends to support client development activities

Advocate recommendations based on understanding of the business, wins and pipeline

Support on proposals and other BD initiatives as required

Support on business planning and management reporting
About you
-
At least 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in a business development role involving data analysis and synthesis, management reporting, business planning, target setting, performance and gap analysis, etc

Experience in key account management and client development

Possess a bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Business Management, Management Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or similar

Adept in working with data and the use of data visual is action tools such as PowerBI, Excel Pivot, etc

Good business acumen with growth mindset

Ability to manage multiple projects to ensure deliverables are met within timeline

Experience in a professional service and/or network firm would be advantageous

Experience with Einstein Analytics under Salesforce is not required, but would be advantageous
