DESCRIPTION
As a Business Finance Analyst on the Amazon Payments Finance team you will own financial reporting and analytics for our emerging business efforts and regulatory reporting with daily financial tracking.
Key job responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analytics:
– Generate and own comprehensive financial reports for APAC Payments Finance
– Develop automated dashboards to track business-critical KPIs and payment method performance
– Transform complex financial data into actionable business insights
Regulatory Compliance:
– Own MAS safeguarding reporting, APS OPEX forecasting for base capital ratio tracking, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
– Maintain documentation and controls for regulatory reporting
– Collaborate with safeguarding data owners for any adjustments on current automated safeguarding tracking tool
– Work closely with compliance on Internal / External audit
Stakeholder Management:
– Partner with Business Intelligence teams for payment method analysis
– Collaborate with data engineering teams to enhance analytics infrastructure
– Present insights to stakeholders using data visualization
– Work cross-functionally to identify and track key performance metrics
Technical Requirements:
– Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
– Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools
– Advanced Excel and SQL skills
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience
– 3+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
– Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
– Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience in customer segmentation, customer behavior analysis, conjoint/trade-off modeling
– Experience using ETL tools and SQL.
