Job Responsibilities

Expense Management & Budgeting

  • Lead annual budget exercise for ALL CEM Teams (including Creative Marketing);
  • Assist Head of CEM with KPI assessment & financial planning
  • Track and manage CEM expenses & ensure expenses are made within assigned budgets; Perform budget management & reconciliations of approved budgets vs. actual expenditures,
  • Track invoice payment status & invoices’ recharges to Front Office and respective teams with Finance
  • Prepare monthly Marketing spend for Head of CEM & GCOO, explaining any over/under spend
  • Drive deeper insights through data and well thought out analysis; Review actual spend of Marketing events, recommends budget reallocations among events as needed, to ensure optimal use of budget
  • Collates year end accruals for submission to Finance

Procurement

  • Appointed Spoke for All CEM (include CXD if relevant); trains CEM members on any updates in COO procurement processes.
  • Coordinate with Hub on annual review of vendors for (a) delisting (b) renewing KYV (c) refreshing vendor performance scorecard.
  • Manage and/or review all procurement related documentation and ensure proper documentation for all teams.
  • Guide all teams on vendor onboarding & procurement related enquires
  • Ensure Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) policy is adhered to for all vendors onboarded; work closely with multiple stakeholders for TPRM assessment
  • Coordinates within CEM (including Creative Marketing) on procurement matters, including liaising with Hub on vendor onboarding & ORP on risk related matters

Others:

  • Subject matter expert in expense approval authorised signatories and limits & advises the CEM team accordingly
  • Maintains the financial dashboard for Marketing
  • Supports bank-wide client engagement initiatives & any ad hoc tasks required by the team, such as book of works showcase, Dashboard reporting and ROI reporting etc.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in banking or finance industry, preferable has experience in procurement
  • Demonstrate experience or potential in marketing plus willingness to learn
  • Demonstrate versatility and resiliency to react to changes, navigate ambiguous circumstances and accommodate to changing priorities as they arise
  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
