As a Client Finance Manager, you will support the Client Service Lead for Media, Entertainment and Technology key accounts in driving profitability through data-driven and actionable financial insights, providing in-depth knowledge of financial to improve quality of planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and variance analysis. The incumbent will also support Telco+ as the financial analyst managing SBG overheads and support SBG Finance lead in preparation of management reporting

 

What will you do?

Financial Business Partnering

  • Partner with Business Leaders (Client Service Leads (CSL) / Client Delivery Leads (CDL) / Delivery Leads) to manage the overall revenue and profitability of the Key Accounts by providing financial data to stakeholders, including monthly management reporting of the actual and analytical review of the performance against forecast, budget, and prior year and the formulating of annual budgets
  • Partner with CSL / CDL / DL in reviewing the project financials for projects under Watchlist to ensure projections are optimized and aligned with assumptions
  • Providing advisory and interpretation of accounting standards, policy and procedures to the relevant stakeholders of the Key Account

Forecasting & Performance Management

  • Supporting the stakeholders in ensuring timely and accurate updates of pipelines, billings, revenue forecast, etc., and highlighting risk and suggesting mitigation and gap closure plans

Process Improvement & Controls

  • Review, streamline, standardize and recommend new or improvements to processes or systems to enhance financial management, operational efficiency, effectiveness, compliance and controls

Revenue Management

  • Follow up and drive improvement in unbilled revenue status to ensure minimal capital charge impact to the key accounts

Operational Finance Support

  • Provide operational support for Finance processes including offshoring delivery billing and interco billing process

Reporting & Overhead Management

  • Perform the financial analyst role on managing SBG overheads and providing support to Telco+ Finance Lead in preparation of management reporting materials and analysis (e.g. MBR and month-end closing

 

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 5–7 years of experience in financial analysis and management reporting in MNC environment and audit (Commercial Analyst background is a plus)
  • A sharp analytical mind with the ability to interpret complex data for business leaders
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with assertive or senior stakeholders
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and revenue recognition principles
  • Resilience under pressure, proactive mindset, and a strong sense of ownership
  • (Good to have) Familiarity with SAP, BPC, Tableau, and ICT industry domain knowledge
  • Degree in Accounting (Professional certification such as ACCA or CA has an added advantage
