Join Our Dynamic Team as a Communications and Engagement Intern! The Rewards and Well-being team is part of the larger Group People & Sustainability department, dedicated to enhancing employee health and well-being through a variety of programs, initiatives, and events. We are seeking a passionate intern to support our communications and engagement efforts while contributing to our well-being and benefits programs.
As a Communications and Engagement Intern, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop Communication Strategies: Learn to apply effective communication techniques to promote our well-being initiatives across the organization.
- Engage with Diverse Audiences: Understand the importance of our BIG Well-Being pillars—Mental, Physical, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB), Financial, Professional, Personal, and Purpose—and how to communicate these effectively to our employees.
- Enhance Team Collaboration: Build relational skills and teamwork with cross-functional members while developing your presentation skills through various projects.
Make an Impact
- Creating Engaging Communications: Plan and prepare various forms/modes of communications (eDMs, newletters, videos, etc.) to raise employee awareness and engagement about new initiatives, upcoming events, and to take action for personal health.
- Supporting Well-being Initiatives: Assist in the implementation of well-being programs and policies that foster a positive workplace culture.
- Event Logistics Coordination: Provide logistical support for both virtual and in-person events such as webinars, the annual Singtel Group Learning Fiesta, Race Against Cancer, World Mental Health Day, and various on-site well-being activities.
- Tracking Participation Metrics: Monitor utilization and participation statistics across various communication channels and events to assess engagement levels.
- Enhancing Intranet Content: Collaborate with the well-being team to improve benefits and well-being pages on the intranet, contributing insights for policy enhancements as needed.
- Research Contribution: Review external research and integrate new insights into our well-being programs, proposing suitable interventions for implementation.
- Award Application Support: Work alongside the well-being team to prepare submissions for various external awards.
Skills for Success
- Currently be pursuing a Degree or Diploma in Communications or a related field.
- Have experience with various content creation tools, and have produced content with impact for different target groups.
- Have strong communication skills with an ability to engage diverse audiences.
