The intern will get to understand and have working knowledge of Singtel’s corporate sustainability strategy, approach and programmes.
The intern will be involved in the development, planning and implementation of sustainability activities and events.
These events include and are not limited to: Fundraising and staff volunteering activities related to the Singtel Touching Lives Fund, Singtel-Singapore Cancer Society Race Against Cancer, and Digital Enablement programmes such as Digital for Life outreach workshops.
The intern is expected to:
- Plan and organise sustainability staff awareness activities as well as internal and external facing events
- Manage administrative support related to the events
- Coordinate and liaise with the various parties involved (e.g. external partners and vendors, charities, employees) for event set-up, logistics, delivery of goods and services etc. to ensure smooth execution of the events
- Manage and track events timelines and budgets
- Craft communications and write articles for our internal portal to engage staff on our sustainability initiatives
- Assist Group Sustainability Managers on the various ongoing sustainability programmes and projects
