Role Overview
The Corporate Development and Business Planning Executive serves as a strategic business partner to the Head of Corporate Development & Business Planning and the Head of International Wealth.
The role is responsible for driving business performance management, executive reporting, strategic planning support, governance, and leadership communications across the International Wealth business. The incumbent will ensure management has timely, accurate and actionable insights to support decision-making, while driving coordination across Market Heads and key stakeholders.
Success in this role requires strong reporting and analytical skill, strong business acumen, stakeholder management, executive communication skills, commercial understanding, and the ability to independently drive complex deliverables across multiple functions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Performance Management

Lead monthly business performance reviews and management reporting processes

Monitor and analyse key business performance indicators including revenue, assets under management, client acquisition, productivity, profitability, and strategic initiatives

Identify performance drivers, risks, opportunities and emerging trends

Translate business performance data into actionable management insights and recommendations
-
Support management discussions on business performance and strategic priorities
Executive Reporting & Leadership Presentations

Own the end-to-end development of Business Planning Review (BPR) materials
-
Develop executive-level presentations for senior management meetings, management committees, board discussions and strategic reviews

Consolidate and synthesise inputs from multiple stakeholders into clear and compelling management narratives

Ensure materials are accurate, concise, commercially relevant and decision-oriented

Anticipate management questions and proactively address information gaps
Strategic Planning & Business Insights

Support annual business planning, forecasting and target-setting exercises

Partner with business leaders to evaluate strategic initiatives and growth opportunities

Conduct market, competitor and business analysis to support strategic decision-making

Develop business cases and performance tracking frameworks for key initiatives

Provide thought partnership to management on business priorities and execution
Stakeholder Management & Business Coordination

Act as a central coordination point across Market Heads, Sales Leadership, Finance, Product, Operations and Support Functions

Drive timely collection of information, updates and deliverables required for management reporting

Build strong working relationships across the organisation to ensure alignment and execution

Proactively manage dependencies, risks and escalations
Governance & Operating Rhythm

Drive governance processes and management cadences across the business

Ensure all management meetings, reviews and business forums are properly planned and executed

Coordinate agendas, materials, actions and follow-ups

Maintain visibility of key milestones, deliverables and strategic initiatives

Track management decisions and ensure accountability for execution
Leadership Communications & Engagement

Coordinate business Town Halls and leadership communication events

Develop communication materials that clearly articulate business performance, priorities and achievements

Support leadership engagement initiatives across the organisation

Ensure communication messages are aligned, impactful and timely
Requirements:
-
Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related discipline
-
5 – 8 years of experience in business management, strategy, planning, consulting, wealth management, banking or related fields

Strong understanding of wealth management and private banking business models

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong executive presentation and communication capabilities

Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities

Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
