Join PwC Singapore’s Office of General Counsel (OGC) team as an in-house legal counsel and provide practical legal advice and risk-based solutions to internal clients on a range of general corporate, commercial and technology law matters.
How will you value-add?
We are looking for a legal counsel with 5 to 8 years PQE.
Based in Singapore and reporting to the Head of Legal in Singapore, this role will involve providing practical legal advice and risk-based solutions for the firm on a range of commercial, contractual, regulatory, policy and practice issues in an environment operating at a fast pace. You will work in a supportive team environment dealing closely with all areas and levels of the multi-disciplinary professional services organisation.
We need team members who are willing to be involved in a variety of matters and an ability to juggle effectively competing demands. The role will allow you to use your initiative, working within a team of lawyers.
Key focus areas include:
- Providing legal support and advice to the business stakeholders on a wide range of commercial, technology and regulatory matters
- Negotiating, drafting and advising multi-jurisdictions contracts
- Collaborating with other PwC business areas and internal functions
- Simplifying complex procurement by providing clear and succinct strategic advice for internal clients
About you
- Sound corporate, commercial and black letter law knowledge
- Good drafting and negotiating skills
- Ability to work as a team or autonomously and manage a client relationship
- Good commercial sense and the ability to assess and articulate key legal risks for the business to make informed and risk-based decisions
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workflow expectations in line with business requirements
