Job Summary
Cost Budgeting/Forecasting and Financial Governance
•    Measurement and tracking of Client Coverage financial targets ensuring accurate planning across the portfolio of 25+ Initiatives and ~$100m Cash Spend
•    Ability to organise and consolidate information requests across Hives with the ability to think ahead in terms of required information to develop high quality data and management insight
•    Coordinate the budget forecasting and planning cycles for CC in line with Group Finance timelines leading to an informed portfolio view for senior management 
•    Drive the quality of the financial forecasts through timely robust review processes and cost analysis on Capex/Opex, Manday and Non-Manday cost and other cost analysis and ensure alignment between Resource plan and financial plan including hiring controls
•    Drive adherence to the various financial control processes including Capex, Impairment review, missing timesheets etc.
•    Extensive data analysis related to Performance Management & Planning within the Coverage Portfolio and presentation of results
Change Delivery Standards Process & Governance
•    Key SME in the roll out of adoption of Change Delivery Standards across CC portfolio liaising with ECM and CCIB colleagues on practical implementation from Client Coverage perspective
•    Adopt a design thinking mindset to define problems, ideate and test solutions on governance adherence and mandatory reporting removing friction and blockers to get to desired outcome
•    Establish and operationalise effective feedback loops with Hives to design robust processes and get consistency in approach across the portfolio for nWOW governance
•    Solid working knowledge across all tools including Clarity, aXess, JIRA, Sharepoint supporting the governance framework understanding linkage between systems
•    Ability to run with and produce ad-hoc deep dive topics of discussion at QPR for senior management relating to Portfolio Management issues
Benefits Realisation Tracking
•    Design and implement Reporting processes to capture transparent performance metrics that align with the CC Business plan
•    SME point of contact on generating a benefits plan that has quality supporting calculations Business CFO review ensuring sensible assumptions and value calculations with identified MIS to support the realisation
•    Roll out the process across the portfolio ensuring consistency on tracking benefit realization
Stakeholder Management
•    Building strong, influential & trusted stakeholder relationships at all levels with focus on senior group level Management Team, Hive CPO’s, Hive Tech Leads and Portfolio analyst team across CC
•    Training, upskilling and knowledge management responsible for creating stakeholder engagement plan for Portfolio analyst community on Governance related issues

•    Enable effective strategic decisions to be made by ensuring well-articulated Trade Off’s are escalated to QPR/MPR where required  
•    Establish effective Benefits Management & Metrics Management frameworks to track value delivery
•    Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates including CIB Investment Strategy and objectives
Processes
•    Ensure portfolio wide adherence to the Change Delivery standards and guidance
•    Responsible for ensuring adherence to consistent project standards and methodology, including defining detailed processes & training guidance across key governance topics including 
•    Financial budgeting and forecasting 
•    Measuring baselines and tracking/reporting benefits & metrics,
•    Tracking of transformation programmes at key milestone level 
•    Risks, issues & dependency management 
•    Partner with individual(s) and Hives in the context of governance and controls, both to provide general guidance and to support them to resolving specific issues
•    In depth knowledge of the Change Management Process and accompanying control tests
People & Talent
•    Role model the banks values, ensuring the portfolio management function is known to be fair and impartial 
•    Effectively co-ordinate and manage across the ~30 PMO’s within the portfolio, driving consistent implementation of standards and quality control
•    Develop a ‘Community of Practice’ enabling all PMO/ Portfolio Analysts to remain aligned, share best practices, network and develop their skills & career paths 
•    Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners
Business
•    Ensure effective business engagement via the QPR/MPR and relevant governance forums by coordinating the cross-portfolio elicitation, and clear presentation of key inputs 
•    Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates including Coverage Investment Strategy and objectives
 
Risk Management
•    Responsible for owning and communicating the process for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks across all initiatives under the Client Coverage investment portfolio 
•    Ensure portfolio wide risks are highlighted to the QPR/MPR in a timely manner 
•    Drive continuous evolution and improvement of controls and services covering the program lifecycle 
•    The ability to interpret the Group’s financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures.
Governance
•    Support the production and distribution of materials and communications to internal stakeholder as appropriate, example QPR, MPR, Board updates 
•    Support portfolio to manage and close audit, risk and regulatory commitment and proactively self-identify gaps and prevent any audit findings from internal and external auditors 
•    Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group’s arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

Our Ideal Candidate
- 3 plus years of prior PMO or project experience ideally in a banking environment.
- The working environment demands an ability to work in a fast-paced manner, while providing quality work output and will require someone who can cope well under pressure while keeping a positive / upbeat attitude
- Experience of Agile, project lifecycle and latest Change Delivery Standards
- Driven, organized, results-oriented with an ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Possesses excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Advantageous Experience in Clarity/JIRA for Project tracking and reporting/reports generation.
- Advantageous Experience in large global scale Programme management
