What you do:
- You will be responsible for assessing credit risk associated with commercial banking customers in the Real Estate and Construction sectors, analysing financial statements, cashflow projections, industry trends and other relevant information as well as providing recommendations to support credit decision-making.
- Liaise closely with Relationship Managers to gather information for credit evaluation of the customers.
- Draft the credit review in compliance with the Bank’s policies & procedures and regulatory requirements to contribute to the overall risk management framework of the Bank.
- Stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions and regulatory changes that may impact credit risk and provide insights in the credit assessment.
- Liaise with Credit Managers to have the credit review approved on time.
Qualifications
Who you are
- Self-driven with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written skills, strong communication and interpersonal skill to build and maintain effective collaborative relationships with Relationship Managers, Credit Managers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth credit processes and timely resolution of issues.
- Strong attention to detail and able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Excellent time management to prioritize and manage multiple tasks & deadlines.
- Knowledge of commercial lending will be useful; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially in Word, Excel will be helpful.
