This role will cover across all Operating Companies across Singtel Group – Singtel Singapore, Optus, NCS and Digital InfraCo. The incumbent in this role must be able to build relationships with the relevant key stakeholders, understand issues quickly and problem solve, as well as provide sound cybersecurity advice if necessary. The role is involved in projects or issues of high complexity that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments.

 

The purpose of this position is to support the strategic direction, management and reporting of key cybersecurity domains across Singtel Group – delivering comprehensive and data-driven reporting to inform decision-making and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

 

This role will implement cybersecurity governance, assurance and operations for Operating Companies that relates to all areas of cyber reporting, including projects, implementation plans and initiatives under the Cyber Transformation Office

 

The incumbent’s responsibilities include collaborating with key stakeholders across different security teams and Operating Companies (OpCo) to facilitate and oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of key cybersecurity data to ensure a unified approach to managing, mitigating, and reporting of cybersecurity risks across the Group.

 

 

Make an Impact by

 

  • Provide support for relevant Transformation projects, initiatives and solutions in Singtel Group associated with the mandates of Group Cyber Resilience.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports across multiple security domains and metrics (e.g. Key Performance Indicators, Key Risk Indicators, Security Programmes etc), ensuring key stakeholders have clear oversight and visibility over Singtel Group’s overall security posture and key cybersecurity risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Singtel Group to drive security data collection and perform data analytics to generate insights and identify trends for the purpose of relevant cyber reporting and risk management.
  • Monitor and assess critical cybersecurity metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of security programmes and initiatives, and actively drive improvements and corrective actions to enhance security performance and mitigate risks.
  • Refine and optimize cybersecurity reporting framework, processes, and metrics to ensure Singtel Group remains up to date with evolving threats, industry standards, and organization needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of cybersecurity activities across the Group to ensure transparency, traceability, and support during relevant internal or external reviews.

 

Skills for Succes

 

  • Diploma/bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant field of study
  • Professional security management certifications such as a Certified Information Systems Security professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or other similar credentials, is required.
  • Interest preferably in at least one or more areas in cyber security, security risk and vulnerability assessment / governance, risk and compliance.
  • Keen understanding in the following areas: Platform Security, Data Security, Network Security, Physical Security, Security Assessment Tools, Security Monitoring Tools.
  • Keen understanding in the following areas: Security Governance Standards, Business Continuity Planning, Enterprise Risk Management, Computer Security Incident Response, and Security Compliance Audits.
  • Good understanding in the following areas: Data Visualization, Power BI, Power Automate
  • Critical thinking
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong language and written skills
  • Have exposure to industrial standards such as NIST, CIS and ISO standards
