How you succeed
The candidate is responsible for performing monitoring and analysing cyber threats that occur within the organisation. The candidate is expected to provide accurate evaluation, escalation of cyber incidents to the management and perform containment of incidents. The candidate will operate in a 24×7 cyber security operations centre (located in the East). Advancement opportunities will be given to candidates with exemplary performance.
What You Do
Your Mission: Defend, Detect, and Dominate Cyber Threats

Vigilantly monitor real-time security events, diving deep into analysis and investigation to uncover hidden threats before they escalate.

Act swiftly and decisively to detect, identify, and contain cyber-attacks or intrusions, minimizing impact and protecting critical assets.

Assess the battlefield by evaluating the effectiveness and potential damage of every observed attack, turning data into actionable intelligence.

Maintain detailed logs of security incidents, managing each case diligently from detection through to resolution, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

Champion service excellence by consistently meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements, delivering prompt and reliable security operations.

Be the voice of clarity through comprehensive reporting and documentation of cyber security events, empowering your team and stakeholders with vital insights.

Collaborate and support your cyber defense squad, sharing expertise and contributing to a resilient security posture across the organization.

Who You Are

Fresh graduates or experienced professionals—with a Degree or Diploma in Cyber Security or related fields
Master essential network tools like ping, traceroute, and nslookup to monitor and diagnose network health.

Understand and enforce cyber defense policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to safeguard organizational integrity.

Navigate diverse network communication types, including LAN, WAN, MAN, WWAN, and WLAN, ensuring robust security across all channels.

Utilize advanced security technologies such as SIEM and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) to detect and respond to threats in real-time.

Identify and analyze various attack vectors—passive, active, insider threats, close-in, and distributed attacks—to anticipate and mitigate risks.

Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments using both proprietary and open-source tools, strengthening our defenses proactively.

Lead incident response efforts by applying proven methodologies to contain and resolve security breaches swiftly.

Comprehend the full attack lifecycle—from footprinting and scanning to covering tracks—enabling strategic defense planning.

Collaborate within the cyber defense service provider framework, understanding reporting structures and processes to ensure seamless communication.

Recognize and counteract system and application vulnerabilities such as buffer overflows, cross-site scripting, race conditions, injection attacks, and malicious code.

Apply knowledge of programming and database languages like PL/SQL to secure applications and data effectively.
