As a Cybersecurity Operations Engineer, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding our enterprise systems and data. This role focuses on operational excellence—monitoring, detecting, and responding to threats—while ensuring compliance and resilience across IT and OT environments. - Operational Security Management
- Operate and maintain cybersecurity tools: SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, PAM, vulnerability scanners, and log management systems.
- Perform system hardening, patch management, and network segmentation.
- Incident Monitoring & Response
- Work with SOC to contain, remediate, and recover from security incidents promptly.
- Work with SOC to monitor alerts and ensure timely escalation and resolution.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Implement and validate compliance controls for regulatory mandates and internal security policies.
- Conduct continuous risk assessments and drive improvements in security posture.
- Engineering & Integration
- Collaborate with SOC, IT, OT, and Physical Security teams to ensure security operations align with enterprise architecture.
- Support integration of advanced monitoring tools and security automation.
- Audit & Reporting
- Perform regular security audits and checks, ensuring timely and accurate management reporting.
- Provide full support for internal and external audits related to cybersecurity.
- Threat & Vulnerability Management
- Follow up on all CVEs to ensure timely remediation.
- Track and address Indicators of Compromise (IOCs), Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT), and Bug Bounty Program findings.
- Ensure vulnerabilities in third-party libraries and components are managed effectively.
Skills for Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or engineering.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, PAM, and vulnerability management tools.
- Strong knowledge of network security, system hardening, and incident response.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent preferred.
- Familiarity with OT and IT security environments.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
