What You Do

The Digital Assets Product Lead supports the development and delivery of OCBC Global Markets’ digital-asset franchise. The role spans the full spectrum of digital assets products — and contributes to product strategy, structuring, execution, and governance across multiple initiatives.

This role sits within the Digital Assets, Digital Market team and is responsible for translating strategic initiatives into executable deliverables — ensuring products are designed, tested, integrated, and commercialised to institutional standards. The individual will partner closely with internal business units, functions, and external ecosystem partners to deliver safe, scalable, and compliant digital-asset solutions that support OCBC’s market-leadership agenda.

Product Development & Innovation

  • Support the Head of Digital Assets in shaping and executing the bank’s digital-asset strategy.

  • Design, develop, and launch products covering cryptocurrencies, tokenised assets, and digital money.

  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify emerging opportunities and use cases.

  • Prepare business cases, pricing models, and commercial proposals for new initiatives.

Execution & Deliver

  • Lead cross-functional delivery squads (Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Treasury, Legal, Finance) to ensure timely delivery, clear accountability, and seamless integration with existing systems.

  • Define and manage project milestones, product requirements, and success metrics; maintain transparent tracking through Confluence or equivalent tools.

  • Operationalise new digital-asset products: coordinate onboarding, training, SOP design, and control implementation with Operations, Risk, and Front Office.

  • Monitor live performance and post-implementation reviews; establish product dashboards and analytics to track adoption, transaction volumes, and revenue contribution.

  • Drive continuous improvement — identify automation, data, and process-efficiency opportunities across the digital-asset lifecycle.

  • Track KPIs and user adoption to support continuous product enhancement.

Stakeholder Management & Partnerships

  • Engage internal business units and functional specialists to embed digital-asset capabilities within Global Markets offerings.

  • Build relationships with external partners to enhance product delivery.

  • Represent OCBC in industry forums and regulatory working groups.

Governance & Risk Management

  • Ensure products and processes comply with OCBC’s risk management, legal, and compliance frameworks.

  • Develop and maintain governance documentation, operational manuals, and control checklists.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate delivery, operational, and cyber risks associated with digital-asset solutions.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Law, or related discipline.

  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, CfTP, CFA, Professional Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Product Owner are advantageous.

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in financial markets, digital assets, or fintech product management

  • Knowledge of blockchain technology, market infrastructure, tokenisation frameworks, and digital-money applications.

  • Proven track record in project delivery and stakeholder management across multiple functions.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Self-starter with an execution-first mindset and ability to operate in a fast paced and agile environment.
