Our Digital Tax team comprises both Tax and Technology subject matter experts, working in tandem to transform and automate business processes across areas such as corporate income tax, transfer pricing, and goods and services tax. Using a combination of off-the-shelf applications and bespoke products, we provide effective digital solutions to ease the burden of manual processes so that efforts can instead be channelled into navigating the modern-day Tax landscape.

We partner with clients and internal stakeholders across various industries to understand their business landscape and needs, adopting a data-driven approach in driving value creation. By combining our industry expertise and technology-powered solutions, we are able to harness the power of information to optimise business performance and commercialise data opportunities.

We are seeking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure solutions. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our organization’s technology systems.

How will you value-add?

A career in our Digital Tax Unit will provide you with the opportunity to work on Tax technology strategy and solutions. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Design, implement, and manage networks, servers, and related technologies to ensure seamless connectivity and optimal performance.

  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including network devices, servers, storage systems, and other hardware/software components.

  • Ensure high availability and reliability of systems by implementing robust backup, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.

  • Build and manage Azure CaaS solutions using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Instances (ACI), or other container-based services to support scalable workloads.

  • Deploy, configure, and optimize Web Application as a Service (WAAS) solution, ensuring high availability and secure delivery of web applications.

  • Collaborate with other IT teams to support application deployment and system integration projects.

  • Identify and resolve infrastructure issues, providing timely technical support and troubleshooting for escalated problems.

  • Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and technology refresh initiatives.

  • Implement and enforce security best practices to protect company data and infrastructure from potential threats.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, with expertise in network administration, server management, and systems integration.

  • Proficiency in building and managing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines supporting infrastructure and application lifecycle automation.

  • Hands-on experience in deploying and managing Azure Containers as a Service (CaaS) platforms such as AKS or ACI.

  • Experience with Web Application as a Service (WAAS) models for delivering, managing, and securing cloud-hosted web applications.

  • Proven experience as a technical solution architect and building end-to-end IT projects deployed on cloud or on-premises.

  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, virtualization technologies, and cloud computing solutions.

  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools and techniques.

  • Familiarity with security best practices and cybersecurity frameworks.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Certifications in relevant technologies, such as Microsoft Azure, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

  • Experience in managing hybrid cloud environments and DevOps practices.

  • Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
