Job Summary
As the Director, Process Implementation Lead for Digital Assets at Standard Chartered, you will be at the forefront of pioneering the design and deployment of digital asset processes within our Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) division. This critical leadership role involves crafting a resilient and compliant Digital Assets framework that aligns with global best practices and regulatory standards, ensuring seamless integration with business objectives and operational risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate the strategic vision and roadmap for the digital assets initiative within CIB, setting ambitious yet achievable goals that drive innovation and growth.
- Lead multi-disciplinary stakeholder engagement, fostering collaboration across the business, second line of defense, and global process owners to ensure comprehensive process governance.
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and compliant processes that address client needs and product specifications, enhancing the client experience in the digital assets space.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed process artifacts and governance documentation, including CCIA records, committee submissions, and approval processes to maintain transparent oversight.
- Champion business partnership by understanding priorities, managing regulatory changes, and delivering user-centric solutions that support Relationship Managers and clients effectively.
- Embed risk management principles by identifying, tracking, and mitigating operational risks associated with digital asset processes, ensuring alignment with the bank’s risk standards.
- Support training initiatives and communication strategies to equip teams with the necessary knowledge and tools to operate within the digital assets framework efficiently.
In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping how Standard Chartered adapts and leads in the burgeoning digital assets landscape, balancing innovation with prudent risk and compliance management.

- Project and change management skills: Competence in managing complex process implementations with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.
- Keen understanding of regulatory landscapes: Experience navigating and implementing processes compliant with digital assets regulations and operational risk requirements.
Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Finance, Business Administration, or Technology and possesses 15+ years of experience in process management within banking or financial services, preferably involving digital asset or fintech contexts. The candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record of leading successful process implementations and managing stakeholder relationships across complex organizational structures
