How you succeed

- You will also have experience developing and/or applying guardrails for Large Language Models, Gen AI and Agentic AI solutions.
What you do
The role is expected to work with a dynamic team to design and shape the future of AI governance, including Generative AI and Agentic AI, across the Group. Your work will ensure that our AI solutions not only meet regulatory and internal standards but also deliver transparency, fairness, and accountability at every step. The function includes the following:
- Drive the development and ongoing refinement of model governance policies that champion responsible AI use across the organization.
- Monitor and back-test guardrails for use cases, including Gen AI and Agentic models, to uncover biases and fairness issues, ensuring they consistently meet governance benchmarks.
- Collaborate closely with model development teams to embed robust guardrails and compliance controls throughout the AI lifecycle.
- Drive the operationalisation of the Group’s model and AI inventory, maintaining comprehensive documentation and audit trails.
- Partner with independent validators, auditors, and regulators to ensure smooth compliance and swift resolution of model findings.
- Stay ahead of the curve by tracking evolving AI regulations and best practices, continuously elevating our governance standards.
- Act as a catalyst for change, fostering a culture of AI governance excellence throughout the Group.
In addition to the BAU functions stated above, the successful candidate will take part in related projects of the department.

Who you are
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in AI governance, model risk management, or a related field, preferably with hands-on experience in implementing Generative AI, Large Language Models, Agentic AI, or AI guardrails.
- Proficiency with leading machine learning frameworks like Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Experience deploying and maintaining Gen AI and Agentic AI solutions in production environments.
- A sharp analytical mind paired with excellent communication skills, able to engage confidently with senior leadership.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes with ease.
- A collaborative team player who can also independently drive initiatives forward.
- A passion for embracing new challenges in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
