Description

  • Formulate Technology Strategy: Develop and oversee the cybersecurity strategy, guiding principles, and roadmap aligned with business strategy.
  • Recommend Future Capabilities: Suggest advanced cybersecurity capabilities and architecture designs considering strategic objectives, organizational constraints, technology trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Gap Analysis: Identify and address gaps between current and target cybersecurity architecture, proposing solutions to stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Impact Analysis: Analyze the impact of major regulations (e.g., TRM) on the overall bank, providing gap analysis, roadmaps, and high-level cost estimates.
  • Holistic Mapping: Collaborate with stakeholders to create a comprehensive view of the organization’s strategy, processes, and IT assets.
  • Develop Standards: Establish and maintain cybersecurity standards, guidelines, and policies to guide solution and project teams.
  • Lead Design Reviews: Oversee and lead cybersecurity architectural design reviews and projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with solutioning and project teams to implement best cybersecurity practices.
  • Benchmarking: Perform benchmarking on selected cybersecurity areas to ensure competitive advantage.
  • Governance: Govern and maintain bank-wide cybersecurity standards.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Define and drive strategies to achieve cost synergy, enhanced risk management, customer service excellence, and competitive advantage.
  • Implementation Approach: Lead the implementation approach, aligning with Group Operations & Technology target architecture and cascading the endorsed direction across functions and regions.
  • Key Initiatives: Identify and propose key initiatives with material impact, engaging and obtaining endorsements from key stakeholders.
  • Large-Scale Cybersecurity Projects: Lead the implementation of large-scale cybersecurity projects, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
  • Cybersecurity Design for Banking: Produce comprehensive cybersecurity designs tailored to banking requirements, ensuring security, compliance, and efficiency.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity architects, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with senior leadership and stakeholders to align cybersecurity initiatives with business goals.
  • Strategic Vision: Provide strategic vision and direction for the cybersecurity team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Resource Management: Manage resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery and optimal team performance.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline. An additional business degree is advantageous.
  • Certifications: Industry certifications such as CISSP, TOGAF, CISA, ITIL, PMP, and other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, including leading multiple major implementations and creating technology strategies.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in managing and mentoring teams of cybersecurity architects and technical professionals.
  • Security Solutions: Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and improving cybersecurity solutions.
  • Emerging Technologies: Up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in cybersecurity.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry best practices, technology trends, and business trends in the financial industry.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly organized, and able to interact professionally at all levels of the organization.
  • Large-Scale Projects: Experience in implementing large-scale cybersecurity projects and producing cybersecurity designs specifically for banking.
  • AI Solutions: Experience working with AI solutions, including designing and implementing AI-driven cybersecurity solutions, and integrating AI technologies into enterprise architecture.
  • Cybersecurity Expertise: In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including data breaches, hacking, account hijacking, malicious insiders, third parties, authentication, APTs, data loss, and DoS attacks. Experience in identity and access management, and creating/enforcing policies that govern access to sensitive technology resources and information assets.
