About the role
As an Enterprise Architecture Consultant Manager within PwC Consulting with a focus on Financial Services, you will lead and manage a team of consultants dedicated to delivering strategic enterprise architecture solutions to clients in the banking, insurance, and capital markets sectors. You will leverage your expertise to help these clients align their technology strategies with their business goals, optimize their IT environments, and drive digital transformation initiatives specific to the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement:
- Collaborate with financial services clients to understand their business objectives, IT landscape, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific challenges.
- Develop and present enterprise architecture strategies and roadmaps that align with client needs and industry standards.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations for optimizing their technology ecosystems, focusing on areas such as risk management, compliance, and customer experience.
- Project Leadership:
- Lead project teams in the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise architecture solutions tailored for financial services.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards, with an emphasis on regulatory compliance and security.
- Oversee project documentation, including architecture diagrams, strategy documents, and technical specifications specific to financial services.
- Team Management:
- Manage and mentor a team of consultants, fostering professional development and growth within the financial services domain.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.
- Thought Leadership:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in enterprise architecture within the financial services sector.
- Develop thought leadership content, such as white papers, articles, and presentations focused on financial services.
- Represent PwC at financial industry conferences and events, showcasing expertise in enterprise architecture for financial services.
- Business Development:
- Support business development activities by identifying opportunities for new client engagements within financial services.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and marketing materials tailored to the financial services industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential financial services clients.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise architecture consulting or a related field within financial services, with proven leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), and emerging technologies relevant to financial services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences, including financial industry stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successfully managing client engagements and delivering enterprise architecture solutions in the financial services sector.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) are highly desirable.
- Experience in digital transformation initiatives, cloud technologies, and fintech solutions.
- Familiarity with financial industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
