1) Finance and Accounting

  • In charge of finance and accounting of business unit ensuring prompt monthly and quarterly closing, complying with FRS and Group policies.
  • Prepare GST and corporate tax returns and liaise with internal Tax department for compliance and timely submission.
  • Monthly and quarterly review of balance sheet items, including accruals & intercompany, ensuring proper reconciliations and resolution.
  • Prepare monthly Flash Reporting, providing insightful analysis and attend to queries from Product, Group Finance and Business teams.
  • Ensure completion of audit of legal entities.

 

2) Financial Planning and Budgeting

  • Work with Business teams in preparing Forecast and Annual Budgets, incorporating Group Finance directions and Business goals.
  • Monitor business performance results with Business teams for quick turn-around actions in instances of gap to target.
  • Provide any other financial analysis.

 

3) Business Partnering

  • Be a trusted Finance advisor on finance matters like revenue recognition, deal structures, capital investment and other business case analysis.
  • Participate in projects.

 

4) Governance and Compliance

  • Instil and maintain high level of integrity and compliance controls, completeness and timely accounting of billing, accruals, payments, capital spend, expenses recovery, etc.
  • Review finance related terms and revenue recognition implications in contracts.
  • Liaise on Internal and External Audits, minimising compliance issues.

 

 

Skills for Success

 

  • Degree in Accounting or its equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant work experience. External audit experience and 1-2 years of working experience in a local SME or MNC preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and knowledge of SAP preferred.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to work in a team.
  • Interpersonal and people management skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
