We are seeking an experienced financial and accounting professional to join our Financial Management team. In this pivotal role, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing expertise, guidance, and strategic insights for finance-related projects.

This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively communicate complex concepts, mentor team members, and drive successful project outcomes

Additional responsibilities include providing support to the regional finance team on reporting matters.

Main Duties:

Collaboration and Alignment:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including the Finance Projects Team, Front Office, Operations, and IT, to ensure finance-related project goals align with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Project Management:

  • Lead the implementation of financial systems, including General Ledger (GL) implementation, finance process optimization/automation, and core banking system modifications.
  • Drive initiatives that support Front Office business objectives and enhance operational efficiency

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including business requirements, user acceptance test scenarios/cases, business process workflows, and project timelines.

Risk Management

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing appropriate strategies to address potential challenges and ensuring project continuity.

Support and Reporting:

  • Provide support to the Regional Finance Management (FM) team in all financial, regulatory and statutory reporting requirements, including responding to auditors requests 

Requirement:

  • At least 10 years of experience in finance, accounting or financial analysis, with a strong background in financial systems, ERP implementations or project management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex project challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially in MS Excel
  • Experiences in using SQL and Python will be a plus
